The MVC Melee is a community-driven coding competition inspired by the Rails Rumble. Each year dozens of Rubyists collaborate and create amazing web applications in a mad-dash 48 hour contest. MVCMelee was created to bring that same spirit to creating amazing web applications in ASP.NET MVC. Rails Rumble is an excellent example of community-driven participation and creative web design and we're hoping to bring that same sense of collaboration and creativity to the world of ASP.NET MVC.
MVCMelee is NOT affiliated with or run by Microsoft. We created this competition to inspire more ASP.NET web developers to consider using MVC as their web platform of choice. We think MVC promotes good coding techniques such as proper separation of concerns, test driven development, and good front-end design practices.
a 48 hour competition where bare-knuckled ASP.NET MVC developers are pitted against time and their own creativity for prizes and bragging rights.
